Federal cherry bow front chest of four drawers with line inlays on French feet with hand written label on reverse This bureau was a wedding gift to Sophia Galpin from her father Col. Joseph Galpin Revolutionary War when she became the wife of Seth Deming II January 29 1804 It was inherited by her son Edward A. Deming by his son Edward Deming. I give it to our daughter Mabel Deming in Accordance with the wish of her father, Edward Deming July 22, 1940. ht. 36in. wd. 41 1/2in.
