Margolis Custom Mahogany Chippendale Style Lowboy, having carved edge over pull out slide with inset glass and blind carved front over one long drawer over three short drawers, center with bird, vine and pillar carving over carved basket of flower skirt, flanked by vine carved columns, all set on carved cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet, signed Margolis 1930, top and front comprised of Cuban mahogany, the best Margolis lowboy in existence, height 33 1/2 inches, top 21 1/2″ x 35 1/2″. Provenance: Keller Family Collection. Custom Margolis specialty pieces made for Samuel and Sophie Gross which were then passed to Florence Keller, then to Dan and Gerald Keller.
