in Cosway binding, front cover having Napoleon crest and crown along with ten stones, inside plate mounted with miniature portraits consisting of a central Napoleon on horseback surrounded by eight marshals to include Davout, Bernadotte, Lannes, Augereau, Berchlier, Murae, Besstores, and Ney, a second plate consisting of additional miniature paintings feature Napoleon centered and surrounded by marshalls Messena, Brune, Moncey, Gouvion St Cyr, Perignan, Audinot, Jourdan, Brune, Grouvchy, Pontiatowski, Mortier, and Mouncey, book interior containing letters and documents by his marshalls concerning the Napoleonic Wars including one signed “Bonaparte 1789.”
