Pair of Large 19th Century Italian Carved Wood Figures of Cavaliers, mounted on pedestals, intricately carved in the Renaissance style, right and left facing, attired in belted intaglio incised tunics having breastplates with motifs of the Venetian winged lion, having ruffled neck collars and sleeves, figures holding halberds in opposing arms, pedestals ornately relief carved with figural corner elements, centering the side plaques with goat head, armorial, foliate and floral carved motif, overall height 89 inches; height (figure and pedestal) 77 inches, height (figure) 46 inches; width 18 inches; diameter 18 inches.
