Charles de Temple and Jocelyn Burton were friends, and he carried many of Jocelyn’s silver pieces in his store. Mr. Refson became a private client and personal friend of Jocelyn’s during this time and often commissioned pieces directly from Jocelyn. The chargers and the bull place card holders Philip was a Taurus are examples of commissioned pieces.
