Set of Six Jocelyn Burton Sterling Silver Bowls with crustacean centers, two with snails 2 bent height 1 3/4 inches, diameter 4 inches 33.6 troy ounces. Provenance: The consignor’s late husband, Philip Refson, owned the Charles de Temple jewelry shop on Jermyn St, London in the late 1970’s through early 90’s. Charles de Temple and Jocelyn Burton were friends, and he carried many of Jocelyn’s silver pieces in his store. Mr. Refson became a private client and personal friend of Jocelyn’s during this time and often commissioned pieces directly from Jocelyn. The chargers and the bull place card holders Philip was a Taurus are examples of commissioned pieces.
