Hugh Henry Hanna was a member of the New York Chamber of Commerce in 1900, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Indianapolis Monetary Convention and Chairman of the Commission on International Exchange where he played a large role in the implementation of the Gold Standard in International Trade.
