Chapin School high chest of drawers in two parts, upper section having broken pediment, pierced carved top over three short deep drawers over four long drawers on lower section with one long drawer over three short drawers over scalloped apron all set on cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet, original hardware and old red finish, circa 1790 Connecticut River Valley. Top center drawer has typical vine carving lower center drawer with fan carving.
