Meissen Green Ground Circular Sugar Bowl and Cover, circa 1740, 18th century, painted in the manner of Heintze, two cartouches of figures at a quayside and in landscape, the cover painted with fruit finial and painted with small landscape reserves, bottom marked with gilt numeral “99” and script letter “H” and press number 10, height 4 1/2 inches, diameter 4 1/2 inches. Provenance: Parke-Bernet Galleries, December 1971 sale, item #118, Julius H Jacobson II a Fifth Avenue Estate.
