Mahogany secretary desk in two parts, upper section with two doors and expanded back on slant lid desk over four drawers, with door and drawers and three shell carvings in the manner of Colchester – Norwich, all of figured mahogany, pine and cherry secondary woods with original brasses no feet. ht. 84in. wd. 46in. dp. 22in. Being sold to benefit a Connecticut Museum Provenance: Originally was in the Norwich Free Academy Homeaking building. It was in C.P. Hamblens office in the Allis House then in the Teel House.
