White to light green jade table screen, rectangle upright panel, exquisitely carved in relief mountainous landscape depicting two sages conversing on a narrow bridge over a stream, the reverse having two cranes, bats, flowering branches and a pine, along with a wood stand, jade: 10 3/8 x 7, probably 19th century. Provenance: Sold by Sotheby’s March 18 & 19, 1977, from Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Heinz II Collection, paid 3200, comes with the 1977 catalog, total height 14 1/2.
